All we know about Simon is his name but his name gives us plenty of insight into the kind of man he was.

Philip was the apostle that walked by sight. He had the philosophy that he had to see it, feel it, hear it, and know it in order to believe it. We will see how Jesus transformed Philip into an apostle that walked by FAITH. Today we will see that our hearts are one of four types of soil. All faith is tested by God. And we will learn that our FAITH has six constant enemies. My desire is that you fight a good fight, finish the course, keep the faith, and receive a crown of righteousness.

This James was always connected with John. James was martyred by Herod. James testimony and life left us an example and pattern to follow after. 

In Part one we learned the importance of being raised in a godly home. Today in part two we will learn that it is not outside appearance but what is on the inside that is important with God. What kind of heart do you have? What is your character? How much are you like Christ? Let us all strive to be everything God wants us to be. 

The Bible tells us nothing but his name yet we can know much about James by knowing his parents. Today in part one we will learn what a difference being raised in a godly home can make.

Matthew was a tax collector and as a result was despised and hated by everyone. After his conversion he was greatly used of God. My friend, nothing is impossible with God. God can use you if you as a Christian will surrender your all to Him. There is no greater life than the surrendered life.

We always remember Thomas as the doubting Apostle. However, Thomas also had devotion and courage. Today we will see how Jesus deals with a troubled soul. Everyone of us has times of being troubled about spiritual things we do not understand. May this lesson be a blessing to you and help you to see that God always has the answer for a troubled soul.

As we continue our study of Thaddaeus we will learn the importance of STEADFASTNESS for the Christian. May Christ find you steadfast at His coming.

Thaddaeus was the STEADFAST Apostle. In our first lesson we will see that Thaddaeus was given a promise by God but that promise was conditional. All Christians can identify with that. We will also start a study of his secret to staying steadfast. 

As we conclude with the life of Peter we will see that he had both GREAT MOMENTS and a TRAGIC FALL. Every one of us can identify with that. Not only will we see factors that led to his fall but we will also see his GRACIOUS RESTORATION. We serve a great God.
